Fruit Research and Development Institute, Horana (2024 - 2025 ) Undergraduate Research Student
I successfully conducted my final year undergraduate research at the Department of Plant Pathology in Fruit Research and Development Institute, covering the areas of microbiology and plant pathology, delving into the “Optimizing low cost media for mass propagation and sporulation of two Trichoderma species”. I have successfully secured an A grade for my research. This research provides me with an extensive hands-on experience, handling laboratory instruments, microbial culturing, subculture preparation, media preparation, colony growth assessment, sporulation assessment by using haemocytometer via serial dilution.
