Executive Engineer (EE Division-Gampaha)

Reporting to the Chief Engineer (Gampaha)
 Successful completion of the projects of the Work Program on Maintenance management
of the road network in the division in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
 Project costing according to the RDA guidelines.
 Handling/Administration of all procurement works of the Division.
 Performing as the Chairman of the tender board of EE division Gampaha and as a member
of two other Tender boards in accordance with SBDs and government Procurement
Guidelines, Sri Lanka.
 Client’s Representative role; closely monitoring & controlling works of ongoing projects
supervised by project divisions to align the project activities with RDA quality guidelines.
 Provide technical advice and making necessary designs to carry the Projects of EE division,
Gampaha.
 Forwarding project proposals and estimates to the higher management with accurate
technical sound business cases and obtaining project charters.
 Coordinating local government authorities and service providing establishments.

Reporting to the Chief Engineer (Design), Design Office, Kandy

 Design of “Wattekale Bridge” 42m long, three spans using BS 5400.
 Design of PBC road- section from 173+500 Km to 176+300 Km using “Civil 3D”
including pavement design(Geometric Design Standards of Roads, RDA).
 Design of Katugasthota-Bambarella Road 6+000 Km to 9+000 Km(Geometric Design
Standards of Roads, RDA).
 Prepare estimate BOQs for road projects and bridge projects.

Site Engineer of two road projects and a bridge project(NRCP/NP-05, Vavniya)

Reporting to the Project Manager
Construction Management / Site Management
 Manage construction teams working on earthworks, road works and structure works,
ensuring a high level of workmanship and effective utilization of labour, materials and
equipment.
 Assist to the PM in project costing
 Coordinating consultant officers in quality control
 Simplify complex technical manuals and complex drawings to the bottom level
 Train new installation crews on proper flooring application, techniques and processes.
